Additional Services

  • During a cupping session, glass cups are placed on specific areas of the body, often on the back, neck, or limbs. A pump is used to create suction and pull the skin and superficial muscle layer into the cup. The cups are typically left in place for a few minutes or moved around gently to create a massage-like effect. Cupping improves blood flow, reduces pain and tension, and releases toxins.

    Included with Private Acupuncture

    $45 | 30 mins cupping only

  • During a gua sha session, oil is applied to the skin and we use a smooth-edged tool to scrape the skin in long, sweeping motions. The scraping action improves blood flow, relaxes muscles, and releases toxins.

    Included with Private Acupuncture

    $45 | 30 mins gua sha only

  • During a moxibustion session, moxa (mugwort) is burned close to the skin or placed on top of an acupuncture point. The heat penetrates the skin and invigorates the Qi and blood in the area, promoting healing and balancing the body's energy. Moxibustion is often used to address conditions related to cold or stagnant Qi, such as chronic pain, arthritis, digestive disorders, menstrual issues, and gynecological conditions. It can also strengthen the immune system and promote general well-being.

    Included with Private Acupuncture

  • Ear seeds are small seeds or stainless steel balls on a sticker that are placed on specific points on the ear. They stay on for 1-5 days and are used to treat many conditions. I like to call it acupuncture to go because it allows the patient to give themselves acupressure on the go. Simply press the seeds and take a few breaths to feel the relief.

    Included with any acupuncture treatment

    $20 | 15 minutes ear seeds only

  • LED (or light-emitting diode) therapy is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes different wavelengths of infrared light to help treat various skin issues. It promotes a natural photobiochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the production of collagen — the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. Some of the conditions treated include fine lines, wrinkles, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, sun damage, scarring, pain, and hair loss.

Included with microneedling & private acupuncture

I do not bill insurance, however, many patients are able to be reimbursed for acupuncture services by submitting a “superbill”, an invoice with specific insurance coding, to their insurance provider. I am happy to provide you with a superbill for reimbursement when requested.

You can use your flexible spending (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) debit cards for acupuncture services—these pre-tax accounts provided by some insurance companies are a great way to offset the cost of your out-of-pocket health care costs.
